Ski Ya Later
My husband spent his childhood vacationing in Park City, Utah, and we have carried on the tradition since we met many years ago. We love skiing and snowboarding, exploring new areas of the city and staying at the Summit Watch each year. It's our home away from home. Since we live in Florida, this trip allows us to enjoy the mountains, slopes and snow for one week each year without having to shovel snow at home...what a deal!

What is your philanthropy? Why does it resonate with you?
Animal rescue! I have a passion for dogs and cats. Currently, we have a dachshund named Willie and a tabby cat named Charlie. A love for animals runs in my family; upon retirement, my parents began running a cat rescue organization. I foresee us adopting another animal soon!
What are people often surprised to learn about you?
I began playing the piano when I was 3 years old, learning the Suzuki method. Albeit my skills are quite rusty and we do not have a piano at home, I enjoy dabbling wherever I find keys. (Fun Fact: I cannot read music well. I play by ear.)
What sports team do you root for?
We are die-hard Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Falcons football fans! (We picked our wedding date to coincide with UGA's bye week). We're also avid golfers.
What is your favorite way to spend your free time?
Either on the water, watching sports or golfing! You'll frequently find us on the boat exploring the waterways, fishing or dock-side at a local, waterfront restaurant.
