No Small Feat

One of my favorite hobbies is painting miniatures. I've been into the hobby for around 5 years now and have built up quite a collection of painting projects. It's a great way to relax, and it is an amazing creative outlet.

While working to self-fund his education, he earned an Associate in Arts degree before transferring to Florida State University to pursue his passion for technology. John's dedication to his studies allowed him to graduate with a degree in Computer Science in 2024, and he officially joined the eventPower team in January 2025, where he now leverages his technical skills and extensive service background.

Fun Facts

I think everyone who is able should pick up a sport or some kind of physical activity and pursue it to as high a level as they can for at least a few years. Everyone should get to experience the peak of what their body is capable of.

What other languages do you speak?

I am not yet fluent, but I have been working on learning Japanese. I took three semesters in college, and I've been trying to make sure to keep up and improve my language skills. It's an interesting language, but learning kanji can be a little overwhelming.

What is your 'go to" karaoke song?

"My Way" by Frank Sinatra

What is your secret talent?

I know karate. I trained in martial arts for much of my late teens and the first half of my 20's. I used to train for 2-3 hours a day, 6 days a week, but fell out of it when I got more serious about getting through college. However, I'm currently working on getting back into shape so I can get back into it.
