Paw-fect Pose

I rescued Dash in 2024 when he was only 4 months old. I went to an animal shelter just for fun (which is always a bad idea because I wanted a dog very badly), and I brought him home that day! My life has changed for the better because of him, and I could not be more grateful to have such a sweet pup. One is enough for me for now, but eventually I want to get another one so Dash can have a friend.

Meet Eriya

Eriya graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies. She held various customer service roles in the restaurant and retail industries throughout high school and college. After graduation, Eriya pursued a career in talent acquisition and recruiting for an events company. She was always looking to expand her skillset, and has always had a passion for bringing people together and building relationships through honest and detailed communication. Eriya wanted to transition from recruiting to a role where she could be more involved in event planning and execution while still working with a team and building strong relationships. The Project Manager role at eventPower was exactly what she was looking for, and eventPower is lucky to have her!.

Fun Facts

What are some things you think everyone should try at least once in their lifetime? Why?

I think everyone should try moving away from their hometown to a new state at least once - even if it's just for a little bit! I lived in Pennsylvania my whole life, and I never would have thought I would be living anywhere else. I took a chance and moved to Florida after graduating from college, and I am so happy I made that decision. The weather helps a lot!

What sports team do you root for?

I grew up in Philadelphia which means the only option is to be an Eagles fan. Go Birds!

Were you named after anyone?

My mom made up my name (even though my sister claims she didn't), and the letters are an acronym for my family. "E" is for Eric and Emylie, my brother and sister. "RI" is for Richard, my dad and "YA" is for Yane, my mom.

What is your favorite way to spend your free time?

Taking my dog to the beach, going on walks with my dog, attempting to train my dog...pretty much anything that involves my dog. I also enjoy working out, watching a good tv show, and going out to eat with my friends.
