Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This AUP applies to both organizations who have a contract with eventPower (Client) as well as end-users (End Users) who utilize the eventPower tools and services, collectively referred to as Customers. If a Client or any End User violates this AUP, eventPower may suspend or terminate the customer’s use of the services.
eventPower maintains complete discretion on the definition of excessive and remedies up to, and including account termination. Note that contracted clients have additional rights defined in our Terms of Service regarding account termination.
Introduction
eventPower is committed to providing our customers with high quality service with a focus on a stable and friendly environment for all our customers. This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) describes rules that apply to any party (“Customer”) using any products or services (“Services”) provided by eventPower. The examples described in this AUP are not exhaustive.This AUP applies to both organizations who have a contract with eventPower (Client) as well as end-users (End Users) who utilize the eventPower tools and services, collectively referred to as Customers. Changes
This AUP may be updated by eventPower from time to time. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our use policies. Your continued use of the Services constitutes your agreement to be bound by such changes to this Policy. Your only remedy, if you do not accept the terms of this Policy, is to discontinue use of our Services.Inappropriate Content and Uses
Do not use the Service to transmit or store any content or communications (commercial or otherwise) that is illegal, harmful, unwanted, inappropriate, objectionable, confirmed to be criminal misinformation, or otherwise poses a threat to the public. This prohibition includes use of the Services by a hate group or content or communications that originate from a hate group or are exploitative, abusive, or hate speech.Prohibited Activities
Do not use the Services to engage in or encourage any activity that is illegal, deceptive, harmful, violating others’ rights, or harmful to eventPower’s business operations or reputation, including:- Violating local, state, federal, or international laws. This includes violating laws requiring: consent be obtained prior to transmitting, recording, collecting, or monitoring data or communications; compliance with opt-out requests for any data or communications.
- Interfering with or otherwise negatively impacting any aspect of the Services or any third-party networks that are linked to the Services.
- Reverse engineering, copying, disassembling, or decompiling the Services.
- Falsification of Identity or Origin. Creating a false identity or any attempt to mislead others as to the identity of the sender or the origin of any data or communications.
Service Violations
Do not violate the integrity of the Services, including:- Attempting to bypass, exploit, defeat, or disable limitations, access controls, or restrictions placed on the Services.
- Finding security vulnerabilities to exploit the Services or attempting to bypass any security mechanism or filtering capabilities.
- Any denial of service (DoS) attack on the Services or any other conduct that attempts to disrupt, disable, or overload the Services.
- Transmitting code, files, scripts, agents, or programs intended to do harm, including viruses or malware, or using automated means, such as bots, to gain access to or use the Services.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Services.
Unsolicited Communications
Do not send excessive communications (including, but not limited to) emails, chat messages, meeting requests, etc. to other participants.eventPower maintains complete discretion on the definition of excessive and remedies up to, and including account termination. Note that contracted clients have additional rights defined in our Terms of Service regarding account termination.
