Meet Sam
Sam graduated from Virginia Tech in the Fall of 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management. Samantha held her first job as General Manager of a bed & breakfast in Northern Virginia. In 2016, she joined eventPower as a Conference Coordinator where she obtained her Certified Meeting Professional certification (CMP) and was promoted to Project Manager.

If you could be on a reality show, what would it be? Would you want to play the hero or the villain?
Amazing Race, and neither.... I'm there to have fun and collect the passport stamps.
When you were 16, what did you want to be when you grew up?
At 15, I had been elected to a state leadership position for a national youth organization and fell in love with the annual conference. I knew then and there that this is what I would be doing as a career.
What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
That's a hard one, but if I had to choose just one, it would be caramel and pralines from my hometown ice cream chain.
Were you named after anyone?
My middle name comes from my great-aunt on my mother's side.
