eventPower understands that accessibility is important for all events. We ensure the virtual event platform is accessible by all by adhering to Section 508 guidelines and follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. In addition to platform accessibility, events can utilize captioning to ensure the content is accessible to all attendees. eventPower can work with transcription companies and services to provide captioning for your session content.

Automated transcription services utilize artificial intelligence to transcribe content in real-time at a low cost. Computer transcription typically provides 80-90% accuracy with normal conversational topics, and less for technical and domain-specific topics. This can be an affordable solution for any size event which needs a basic captioning ability.
We work with a number of companies who provide real-time human transcription services. With some pre-planning, including providing the transcribers with information prior to the event including speaker names and session topics, human transcribers typically provide 90%+ accuracy in real-time. Additionally, these services edit their transcriptions after the session, providing nearly 100% accuracy for the recorded session for future on-demand playback.
Sign Language Interpretation
We have supported events requiring sign language (ASL) interpretation by providing attendees a view of the interpreter in real-time. These interpretations are recorded for future on-demand playback.
