Registration Coordinator

eventPower is hiring a Registration Coordinator to support its growing event management business. The Registration Coordinator will support the registration team and provide attendee registration support to numerous clients. We are looking for a self-starter who can take basic direction and execute the task at hand in a professional and accurate manner. A person who can easily work with numerous members of the eventPower team and coordinate with clients to provide a quality result.


  • Be an active member of the registration team by supporting multiple clients
  • Become a power-user of the eventPower registration software tool
  • Develop a timeline and list of deliverables for each client to ensure the project stays on pace
  • Control the process to ensure the project stays within the contract scope
  • Work closely with clients from initial kick-off to close-out ensuring their expectations and requirements are met
  • Plan and lead periodic client meetings
  • Keep notes on each client throughout the process
  • Make recommendations and advise clients to best match their needs and expectations
  • Configure the eventPower registration tool to best meet the client’s requirements
  • Handle client and attendee questions when applicable
  • Provide full lifecycle management of event registration including all aspects to make the event successful
  • Provide training to the client on the eventPower registration system
  • Work with the eventPower team and other eventPower event managers to coordinate equipment requirements, shipping, onsite labor, and other onsite requirements
  • Setup, execution, and take-down of onsite registration equipment and software. Provide attendees a clean, organized, and controlled check-in experience
  • Train and supervise onsite registration team and hired staff
  • Develop processes and guidelines to standardize and streamline the eventPower registration process
  • Improve efficiencies in the registration process
  • Work closely with the eventPower development team to identify and prioritize system upgrades, enhancements, and bug fixes
  • Prepare and disseminate reports, refunds, and invoices to clients and individual registrants as requested

Position Requirements

  • Strong project management, customer service, and relationship building skills
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple clients and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Technology savvy, including Microsoft Excel/Word, Google Docs/Spreadsheets, and general computer familiarity
  • Provide each client with timely, responsive, and personalized customer support
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Ability to deliver clear and concise information tailored to each specific client
  • Excellent teamwork and communications skills required
  • Ability to work productively supporting a diverse internal team and client list
  • Ability to effectively solve problems, think creatively, make decisions and to take action
  • Ability to self-schedule and work independently
  • Flexible, adaptive, and positive attitude
  • Must be able to travel for onsite event support (30+% travel is expected)
