History


The beginning

Founded in 1996, owner Frank Powell launched eventPower (formerly Technology Forums) to partner with U.S. Military and Federal Government organizations to produce cost effective, education-focused training conferences and expositions. The company focused on the government sector and provided full conference management solutions from beginning to end.

Birth of online conference tools

Throughout the many years of managing conferences, eventPower created online cloud-based tools that addressed the many obstacles that our staff encountered while producing our own internal events. We simply could not find the feature rich software we needed from other companies. While using this software, many organizations approached us about using our system for their events. The eventPower suite of tools became part of our offerings.

By meeting planners, for meeting planners

These tools have been tried and tested by our own staff of experienced meeting planners who helped develop the tools specifically for their needs. The systems has been customized for each new client which has made the product feature rich while keeping it incredibly easy to use. The entire system was produced by meeting planners, for meeting planners.
